A close and dear friend,
A friend that I will never see again,

A friend I longed desperately to meet again,
I searched for her,
Everywhere I could,
Even on Facebook,
No one could tell me where she was.
I wish we did find ourselves,
Remembering the days in Ondo,
In Akure,
Two separate tribes,
One common interest,
Interest to change the narrative of tribalism.
Beauty inside and outside,
Beauty that never hurt anyone,
She gave her best in all,
That which is so treasured,
Her kindness,
Her unconditional love,
Her dedication to friendship,
She gave all.
